Fuzz, The (ITV 1977, Michael Robbins, Lynda Bellingham)

Sitcom The Fuzz detailed the misadventures of a group of bumbling coppers. Superintendent Allardyce (the always good value Colin Jeavons) is in charge of a small provincial police station. Meanwhile Det-Sgt Sidney Marble (Michael Robbins) is in charge of CID but not overly interested in crime solving. Especially if there were chips to be eaten.

Other regulars include PC Cordwainer (Nigel Lambert), PC Dickinson (Mike Savage) and WPC Purvis (Lynda Bellingham).
