Good Guys, The (CB 1968-1970, Bob Denver, Herb Edelman)

Sitcom The Good Guys told the exploits of two friends since childhood living in Los Angeles, Rufus Butterworth, a cab driver who was forever dreaming up schemes that involved his friend Bert Gramins, owner of a diner called “Bert’s Place” which he runs with his wife Claudia.

In season two Rufus, who is single, quit the cab business to join Bert in the diner business when he makes the decision to relocate it closer to the beach.

This was a starring vehicle for Bob Denver after his massive success in Gilligan’s Island.
