Good Night And God Bless (ITV 1983, Donald Churchill, Judy Loe)

Sitcom Good Night And God Bless followed the obnoxious Ronnie Kemp, a stand up comic who also has his own Television gameshow called “Keeping Up With The Jones’s”.

Although Ronnie tries to pretend he is the life and soul of the party, in reality he is a right grump and his private life is a mess.

His second wife Celia is half his age and Ronnie hates the fact that he is the same age as his father-in-law, meanwhile first wife Audrey is stil on the scene, keen to keep dipping her hands into the Ronnie money jar.

Donald Churchill was a writer as well as an actor and co-wrote the series for himself with executive producer Joe McGrath.
