Thriller. Rita witnesses the murder of a man and agrees to testify. With the villains out to get her she is forced to go on the run with her daughter and elderly friend. Penniless, but staying in an expensive hotel, she is forced to pit her wits against a local department store – finding ways to make money by exploiting their returns policy with goods she has not actually bought.
