Grafters (ITV 1998-1999, Robson Green, Stephen Tompkinson)

Grafters follows Geordie (ie from Newcastle) brothers Joe and Trevor Purvis as they try to make a success of their house renovating business in London.

As the series opens Joe (Green), who is a real womanising Jack the Lad, has just scored a major build down in the smoke, restoring a run down Victorian house for well off yuppies Paul and Laura (Neil Stuke and Emily Joyce); He has, somewhat reluctantly, taken his out of work brother Trevor into the business with him. Unfortunately Trevor doesn’t know a great deal about building.
