Happy Ever After (BBC-1 1974-1978, Terry Scott, June Whitfield)

Sitcom Happy Ever After detailed the exploits of a middle class middle aged couple. This forerunner of Terry and June was based on a Comedy Playhouse entry of the same name shown 7 May 1974. The role of Susan was played by Lena Clemo in the Comedy Playhouse edition.

Now that their two daughters had grown up and moved out of home Terry and June were keen for it to be just the two of them again. That idea doesn’t last long as Aunt Lucy moves in with them.
