Heartbeat (ITV 1992-2010, Nick Berry, Niamh Cusack)

Period crime drama series. In the mid sixties London copper Nick Rowan and his doctor wife Kate move to the sleepy Yorkshire village of Aidensfield. Following the departures of the two main characters the series began to open out and focus on more of the residents of the village especially wily Claude Jeremiah Greengrass and new cop PC Mike Bradley.
