Sitcom. While presenting a daily show on Radio Norwich, former chat show host Alan Patridge will stop at nothing to revive his career. The show had it’s roots in the classic fake news show The Day Today which featured Partridge as a sports presenter, this was followed by the equally brilliant Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partidge out of his depth as a chat show host.

On 11 November 2002 the series finally returned for six more episodes with Partridge still at Radio Norwich. Partridge is still going strong with an occassional series for Sky Atlantic called Mid Morning Matters (a series was made in 2010 and then another in 2016 – this was funded by Fosters Lager and first seen on their website and YouTube) and in 2013 a full blown big screen movie called Alpha Papa as released.
