The Job Lot was a curiously old fashioned sitcom set in a job centre in the West Midlands. Trishn (Sarah Hadland) is the boss and her main worker is Karl (Russell Tovey) along with Angelam (Jo Enright) two security guards Paul (MArtin Marquez) and Janette (Angela Curran).
The only surprise here is that Eric Chappell or Roy Clarke are not the series writers! Despite that it managed to knock up three seasons, from season two onwards the show was broadcast on ITV-2.
