Just Good Friends (BBC-1 1983-1986, Jan Francis, Paul Nicholas)

Very funny and well remembered romantic sitcom Just Good Friends was about the relationship ups and downs of wideboy Vince Pinner and genteel Penny Warrinder.

When the series began Penny bumped into Vince in a pub five years after he jilted her at the altar. Penny is unwilling to get involved with Vince again, even as a friend, but after some persuasion they begin seeing each other again.
