Last Tango in Halifax (BBC-1 2012-2016, Derek Jacobi, Anne Reid)

Comedy drama series Last Tango In Halifax heads straight into As Time Goes By territory with it’s storyline about Celia Dawson and Alan Buttershaw, both widowed and in their 70′s who, after not seeing each other for 60 years decide to rekindle their romance – much to the initial distrust of their grown up families.

A wonderful cast and nice scripts from Sally Wainwright who is also behind Scott and Bailey and At Home With The Braithwaites.
