The Mind Beyond: The Daedalus Equations (BBC-2 1976, Michael Bryant)

In The Daedalus Equations, the fourth episode of The Mind Beyond anthology, elderly Hans Daedalus defects from East Germany to the UK, he dies of a heart attack not long after. Medium Eileen Gray comes forward with what seems to be key work from Hans sent from beyond the grave. Is she telling the truth or does she have an ulterior motive for her actions.

Quite an interesting story, mixing science with the spiritual to great effect and with a nice ending that can’t quite make up its mind whether to be ambiguous or obvious. Great cast too!
