If It Moves, File It (ITV 1970, John Bird, Dudley Foster)

Sitcom If It Moves, File It detailed the exploits of two devious civil servants, Quick and Foster. The two men are obsessed with secrecy and are constantly trying to avoid attracting the attention of their boss, Froggett (John Nettleton).

An unusual series for creator Troy Kennedy Martin, more usually associated with crime drama fare. It was his first sitcom credit although he had recently scripted classic movie The Italian Job.
