Ned and Stacey (FOX 1995, Thomas Haden Church, Debra Messing)
Off-beat romantic comedy, starring Thomas Haden Church and Debra Messing.
Ned Dorsey is an ambitious advertising executive. Stacey Colbert is a sensitive, opinionated writer. Not surprisingly, when the wise-cracking corporate climber met up with the conscientious liberal journalist, it was hate at first sight.
But when Ned is pressured to get hitched to get a big promotion, the last woman he’d ever marry is the only woman he can find. And when Stacey, who had to move out of her mother’s house, discovered that Ned’s apartment was the size of his ego, the blind date from hell led to a marriage of convenience.
Together, Ned and Stacey are about to discover that a fake marriage poses some very real problems. Like trying to keep up appearances while keeping your romantic options open. But, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, Ned and Stacey are stuck with each other.
