A sitcom that was based on the Doris Day film of the same name which in turn was based on a book by Jean Kerr.
The plotline concerned the Nash family, English professor dad Jim and reporter wife Joan. The family lived in Ridgemont, New York (Jim taught at Ridgemont College), the pair had four kids, Kyle, Joel, Tracey and Trevor (the last two played by real life brothers Joe and Jeff Fifthian). The family, who also had a maid called Martha and a large sheepdog called Ladadog, were highly unconventional much to the consternation of their next door neighbours Marge and Herb Thornton.
Oddly Robert Vaughn and David McCallum appeared in the “Say UNCLE” episode as Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, and Stefanie Powers appeared as April Dancer in the “Remember Lake Serene” episode, connecting this series to both The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and The Girl from U.N.C.L.E..
