Rovers (Sky-1 2016, Sue Johnston, Craig Cash)

Sitcom Rovers takes us behind the scenes of Redbridge Rovers, one of the oldest teams in the English football league (established 1884). These days they have fallen on hard times somewhat being second from bottom in one of the lowest leagues and with a football pitch that is next to a rubbish tip.

Main characters include Doreen, who pretty much runs the club single handed and super fan Pete Mott (and his lodger Tom).

The club used for exterior shots was New Mills A.F.C. in New Mills, Derbyshire.
