Thriller serial set against the background of the Edinburgh International Festival. Scobie, an unsuccessful artist,dislikes September which for him signifies the beginning of Autumn and has always been an unlucky month for him, this particular September is no exception as Scobie and his wife Judy become involved in a frightening international conspiracy which leads them into danger and death.

1.EPISODE ONE
Scobie, an unsuccessful artist,dislikes September which for him signifies the beginning of Autumn and has always been an unlucky month for him, this particular September is no exception as Scobie and his wife Judy become involved in a frightening international conspiracy which leads them into danger and death.

2. EPISODE TWO
At the police station the numbers of Scobie’s notes are found to tally with a list kept by Lilli. Scobie insists that the money that has been found belongs to him.

3. EPISODE THREE
Scobie is released on bail, Archie has been kidnapped by Vickers who now knows he has picked up he wrong man.

4. EPISODE FOUR
Munro has been shot in error by the Watchmaker and Scobie is found by Trevor with a gun. Scobie recognises the watchmaker from an identikit photograph.

5. EPISODE FIVE
Scobie has remembered that Pandorus and the Watchmaker met before at Edinburgh Castle.

6. EPISODE SIX
Scobie is certain that Vickers and Brodie are working for Pandorus who claims that Oereira is a former German SS Member bent on world economic conquest.

The serial was broadcast in Australia in 1971.
