In thriller Secret Smile Miranda Cotton (Kate Ashfield) has a brief passionate fling with charming and personable Brendan Block (David Tennant). But she sees a darker side to him and ends the relationship.
Shortly afterwards she gets introduced to her sister’s new fiancé and it is Brendan. To everyone else Brendan is the perfect guy – it seems only Miranda can see what a nasty calculating piece of work he really is – or is it her that’s wrong?
