Shelley Berman (BBC Comedy)

A comedy trilogy of occasional stand up shows starring American comic Shelley Berman. Frank Muir and Denis Norden were big fans of Berman (who had also performed in a trio in the 1950’s with Mike Nichols and Elaine May) and were instrumental in bringing him to the UK for these specials.

Dates were 1. Sunday 3 Dec 1961 at 9.15pm on BBC, 2. Tuesday 4 Jan 1966 at 8.50pm on BBC1, 3. Friday 6 June 1968 at 9.05pm on BBC2.
