Spartacus: Vengeance (Starz 2012, Liam McIntyre, Lucy Lawless)

Vengeance, the third in the Spartacus series, promised to be one of the major highlights of 2012, with the prequel Gods of the Arena being a mighty fine fill in before the events of Blood and Sand continue (minus Andy Whitfield who unfortunately was still too ill to continue in the role).

The new Spartacus was  played by Liam McIntyre and in this second season we were taken back to the Roman Republic city of Capua where Spartacus and his colleagues are hell bent on continuing the slave revelution that threatens to bring Roman society to its knees.
