Role reversal sitcom Take A Letter Mr Jones offered a rare chance for John Inman to shine outside of Are You Being Served. He playe Graham Jones who was private secretary to hard working businessman Joan Warner who was a divorced single mum. Also working for Warner was Brenda, Ruth and Daisy.
Joan’s daughter, the rather spoiled Lucy was also a regular as was Italian maid Maria played by Miriam Margolyes.
