The Dancing Years was based on a romantic musical by Ivor Novello with a setting of Vienna between the years 1911 and 1938. Storyline concerns three people who find their lives changed forever by their association with a young woman.
Should have been broadcast 27 August 1979 but was postponed because of the long running ITV strike of 1979.
