The Girls Who Came To Stay (ITV Drama, Alun Armstrong)
In single drama The Girls Who Came To Stay Julie Jenkins (Lindsay Coulson) is keen to participate in a scheme to give Belarusian children a home that allows them to take a break from the harsh condition in their homeland. Her husband Bob (Alun Armstrong) is less keen so Julie makes the arrangements behind his back and two young girls duly arrive. With no choice Bob makes the best of it and finds it an expectedly rewarding experience.
