The Test (BBC Scifi, Nicholas Selby, Jack Stewart)
Scifi drama The Test was an entry in The Sunday Night Play strand and detailed the stress filled life of scientist Doctor Armstrong (Nicholas Selby) preparing a top secret project. Armstrong is being pressured by the Government to carry out tests before all calculations and checks have been made.
The drama was based on the novel Breakdown by Patrick Marsh. Location filming took place at Beachy Head and at the U.S. Air Base at Mildenhall.
