Trip Trap (Screen One BBC-1 1996, Kevin Whately, Stella Gonet)
Kevin Whately and Stella Gonet star in Trip Trap, a chilling story of violence and guilt hidden behind the façade of suburban respectability.
Trip Trap is the story of a tortured man who turns his anguish upon his wife. Ian (Kevin Whately) and Kate (Stella Gonet) are used to concealing the dark truth of their seemingly secure marriage. But when Ian’s secret violence worsens and threatens the children, Kate tries to break free. When Ian pursues her to seize the children and take them home, leaving her disabled and helpless, it seems as if his rage has won.
