Tripper’s Day (ITV Sitcom, Leonard Rossiter, Pat Ashton)

Sitcom Tripper’s Day focused on Norman Tripper (Leonard Rossiter), harassed manager of London supermarket Supafare.

Sadly this was Leonard Rossiter’s final sitcom before his untimely death, unfortunately it was not his finest performance and not the finest work by creator Brian Cooke either.

The series was retitled Slinger’s Day after Bruce Forsyth took over following Rossiters death.
