Two In Clover (ITV Sitcom, Sid James, Victor Spinetti)

In well remembered sitcom Two In Clover, Londoners Sid Turner (Sid James) and Vic Evans (Victor Spinetti) give up their jobs working in insurance and buy a small holding in the village of Fletchley. They quickly find it is not the bucolic idyll they were expecting, especially as neither of them has a clue about self sufficiency.

Guest stars were generally high quality and included the likes of John Le Mesurier, James Beck, Jack Woolgar, Justine Lord and Hermoine Baddeley. There was a short ten minute segment broadcast as part of ITV’s All Star Comedy Carnival on 25 December 1969.
