Weaver’s Green (ITV 1966, Kate O’Mara, Megs Jenkins)

Twice weekly drama series. Stories of two vets in their rural practice. An attempt to create a long running soap that didn’t happen mainly down to the fact that Anglia couldn’t get complete coverage across the ITV network for the show.

The series petered out after 50 episodes, interestingly one of the writers on the series Tony Marsh was in reality the pseudonym of brothers Troy Kennedy Martin and Ian Kennedy Martin (Ian was story editor on the show at the time.)
