Wyvern Mystery, The (BBC-1 2000, Naomi Watts, Iain Glen)

Period thriller The Wyvern Mystery was based on a spooky novel by Sheridan LeFanu and took us to the 19th century where Alice Maybell is taken in as an orphan by Squire Fairfield, later when she is an adult the squire tries to force himself upon her, she decides to elope with the squires son Charles Fairfield but is haunted by nightmares that appear to be coming true.

High production values and a strong performance from a pre Hollywood fame Naomi Watts.
