The series basically only happened because Yorkshire wanted to keep Diana Dors on board after the end of Queenie’s Castle, here she takes over the running of the team because as she says “its not good for the image, lost matches don’t sell clothes.”

The series was filmed at the Bison Sports team’s ground in Yorkshire and many of the team’s players popped up during the scenes of game play. Roy Holder had a prominent part in the series but broke a leg (not playing rugby) and ended up having to be replaced.
