Family drama series The Appleyards told stories of the ups and downs of a middle class family.

The series was shown as part of the Children’s Television’ strand and there was a one off reunion special called Christmas With the Appleyards broadcast 24 Dec 1960 (BBC Writer/Producer: Kevin Sheldon).
