In one off comedy Bostock’s Cup former players of third division football team Bostock Stanley gather for a reunion dinner 25 years after their famous FA Cup victory in 1974. The highlight of the dinner is to be a reshowing of the classic documentary made at the time of their triumph. The modern scenes are just a framing device really with the majority of the piece taking place in 1974.
Writer Chris England managed to score a nice cameo for himself as footballing legend George Best.
