Period crime drama serial Come Home Charlie And Face Them was based on novel by R.F. Delderfield who was more usually associated with big doorstep novels such as To Serve Them All My Days. Here in this low-key but well done three parter the setting is a small North Wales town during the 1930’s where bored bank clerk Charlie Pritchard begins an affair with glamorous Delphine who persuades him to rob his own bank.
