Christopher Vaughan, a millionaire and birdwatcher, holds the casting vote share in a large cosmetic company which has developed a means to make a perfume which deprives people of their senses for 24 hours at a time. Villainess Syrie Van Epp wants the secret so she kidnaps the millionaire. Vaughan’s uncle Sir Wilfred Templer hires Scrotty to find his nephew, but things go wrong and Vaughan is sentenced to death.
