Drama Playhouse: Barrister At Law (BBC-1 17 Jul 1969, Edward Chapman)

Barrister at Law was a one off drama broadcast on BBC One under the Drama Playhouse banner on 17 July 1969. Edward Chapman played Barrister Percy Brent who is asked by his daughter Catherine (Sheila Fearn) to defend her lover, however Brent severely dislikes the man.

This was the first Drama Playhouse production, a pilot for a series that never happened. The episode, which was written by Max Marquis and directed by Vere Lorrimer, was subtitled Winner Take Nothing.
