Fitz, The (BBC-2 2000, Ruth McCabe, Eamon Morrissey)
Sitcom telling tales of an extremely strange Irish family called The Fitzgeralds who lived in a weird house on the border of Northern and Southern Ireland in the tiny village of Mullackmuff. Ma and Da have lost count of the number of children they have had and tend to be rather vague about which child is which. The kids were all named after differing members of the Kennedy clan.
Eldest child Damien plays football for Chelsea and Ma has become something of an obsessed fan.
Writer Owen O’Neill is better known as a stand up comic.
