Variety Madhouse was a sketch series headlined by Freddie Starr but also co-starring Russ Abbot, Bella Emberg, Norman Collier, Toni Palmer and Mike Newman. Interestingly when Starr decided not to make another season of the show Russ Abbot graduated to star billing and the title changed to Russ Abbot’s Madhouse.
