Gingerbread Girl, The (ITV 1993, Janet Dibley, Tyler Butterworth)

Sitcom The Gingerbread Girl saw single mum Linda (Janet Dibley) doing her best to cope bringing up her 8 year old daughter Kerry by herself. Ex-husband Matt (John Diedrich) is slack when it comes to maintenance and next door neighbour Eddie (Tyler Butterworth) would love to get to know her better but he definitely isn’t Linda’s type.

The series was created especially for Janet Dibley by Alex Shearer, she had worked with him before on the popular The Two Of Us.
