Green Green Grass, The (BBC-1 2005-2009, John Challis, Sue Hodlerness)
A spin-off from Only Fools And Horses. Former second-hand car dealer Boycie sells up and he and his family move from Peckham to the country where he becomes a farmer. He does this because Peckham’s local criminals (The Driscoll Brothers) have been imprisoned and he is suspected of being the super grass that put them away.
His wife Marlene (Sue Holderness) and his son Tyler (Jack Doolan) are less than happy about the sudden move from London to the country.
There were a few familiar Only Fools faces popping up including Denzil (Paul Barber), Sid (Roy Heather) and even Roy Marsden as one of the Driscoll brothers. The episode I Done It My Way (broadcast 19 Feb 2009) was a clip-driven affair and featured quite a few clips from Only Fools and Horses.
