Sitcom How’s Your Father detailed misadventures of the three male members (Grandad, Dad and Son) of the Cropper family. Ted was the Granddad, Eddie found himself caught in the middle as father to “drop-out” son Edward.

Eddie has more than his fair share of troubles with wife Doreen and their daughter Christine and finds even less to enjoy in his job at an insurance company where his boss Mr Winterbottom seems perpetually annoyed by him.

Rosemary Martin replaced Barbara Young in the role of Eddie’s wife Doreen for the second run of episodes.
