Intruders (BBC-2 2014, John Simm, Mira Sorvino)

Intruders is a crime drama mixed with Supernatural goings on this BBC America and BBC-2 co-production takes favourite British actor John Simm armed with an excellent US accent and puts him in the middle of a scary mystery that at times can’t quite decide whether to be straight crime investigation or horror story.

Simm is Former LAPD cop Jack Whelan whose life starts to unravel when his wife Amy goes missing – as he investigates her disappearance an old friend also seeks his help with a murder case.

As Jack digs ever deeper he finds that a sinister organisation known as Qui Reverti may be the key to it all.

The series aired first in the US before debuting in the UK on Monday 27 October 2014 @ 9.00pm on BBC-2.
