Sitcom. Down on his luck boxing manager Vinnie Binns think his new protégé, 19 year old Hance Gordon, is good enough to go all the way. So does Vinnie’s chief rival Pat Hunter who is determined to steal Gordon away from him.

Meanwhile Vinnie has an unlikely ally in the shape of Vikki Brown, the girlfriend of Norman Banks who runs the Doctors Against Boxing campaign (Vikki herself is conducting a study into the morality of boxing but takes an instant dislike to Hunter and sides instead with Vinnie).
