Station Jim (BBC-1 2001, George Cole, Frank Finlay)

Station Jim was a heart warming one-off drama set in the 1980s that charts the effect a performing dog (Station Jim) has on the lives of a village’s inhabitants following his adoption by Bob, a lovelorn railway porter.

The story involves an attempt to close down a local orphanage and Bob’s attempt to raise money to save it; it also involves Queen Victoria and an assassination plot.
