In this episode, the experts are presented with a wide range of fascinating treasures. Ronnie Archer-Morgan is particularly thrilled to come across a pipe crafted by a renowned Maori artist. Geoffrey Munn is dazzled by a jewel-encrusted stick pin that was given as a gift from King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra.
Welsh treasures also make an appearance on the show, including an autograph book featuring a signature from Tom Jones and an early concert ticket. Lisa Lloyd challenges Fiona Bruce to identify the most valuable item among three pieces of rare rugby memorabilia.
One standout find is a remarkable archive of First World War-era photographs documenting arrivals into Cardiff Docks, some of whom were suspected spies. Marc Allum is stunned by this collection. Additionally, militaria expert Mark Smith is humbled by a group of medals and a cap badge belonging to one of the earliest members of the SAS.
During her time at Alexandra Gardens, Fiona Bruce meets Simon Weston, a veteran of the Falklands conflict. They discuss the long history of Alexandra Gardens as a war memorial.
