In the fourth episode of this anthology series Pierre Lombard has a contented life with his wife but when his mother dies he inherits a large amount of money. His new found wealth soon finds that he is suddenly attractive to a certain type of woman – one of whom, Marthe, Pierre finds hard to resist. The affair soon leads to murder…

The always good value Brian Blessed takes the lead role here with Isobel Black as the scheming Marthe.
