The brand new series After the Flood debuts on BritBox on Monday, May 13, 2024. Created by Mick Ford and directed by Azhur Saleem, this British crime mystery thriller stars Sophie Rundle as PC Joanna Marshall, a pregnant police officer amidst a flood who uncovers a mysterious death.

In the premiere episode, viewers are introduced to the flood-ravaged town of Waterside, where PC Joanna Marshall, seven months pregnant, discovers an unidentified man’s body in a lift in an underground car park. While it’s initially assumed that he drowned, Marshall is driven to uncover the truth behind his death, pulling her into a web of secrets and long-buried truths. The episode sets the tone for the series, which explores the impact of an environmental disaster on the community while weaving a compelling crime mystery.
