“Aqua Teen Hunger Force” To Get New Episodes from Adult Swim

Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm, the original film, debuts on HBO Max on February 8 and on Adult Swim on March 12.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force, created by Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro, has been renewed for a twelfth season on Adult Swim, the top network for young people. Following the release of the new feature film “Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm” on HBO Max on February 8 and on Adult Swim on March 12 at midnight, the order for five brand-new episodes has been placed.

“Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm” features everyone’s favorite Aqua Teens: the brainy Frylock, the mouthy Master Shake, the loveable Meatwad, and everyone’s favorite perverted neighbor, Carl. They split up then get back together to fight everyone’s favorite corporate overlord, Amazin, led by everyone’s favorite tech mogul, Neil (voiced by Peter Serafinowicz), and his trusty scientist sidekick, Elmer (Golden Globe* winner Paul Walter Hauser).

The feature stars Carey Means “The Brak Show“) as Frylock, Dana Snyder (“Squidbillies“) as Master Shake, and co-creator Dave Willis (“Squidbillies,” “Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell“) as Meatwad. The film also stars Peter Serafinowicz (“The Tick“), Paul Walter Hauser (“Black Bird“), Natasha Rothwell (“The White Lotus“), Robert Smigel (“Bob’s Burgers“), and Tim Robinson (“Detroiters“).

The movie was written and directed by series creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro and produced by Williams Street Productions.
