In the series premiere of Best Bite in Town, viewers will join Guy Fieri’s friend Noah Cappe and a rotating panel of chefs on a culinary journey across the country. The episode, airing on Food Network on Sunday, 7 April, will feature the dynamic trio of Cappe, Tiffani Faison, and Jet Tila as they explore the food scene in Davis, California.
The show, executive produced by Fieri, sees Cappe and his Bite Club, a rotating panel of chefs, visiting six popular restaurants in each city. In Davis, they will indulge in a variety of cuisines, from college hangouts and local pubs to bicycle-friendly eateries and high-end sushi.
The three judges will each select two restaurants, tasting a diverse range of dishes before choosing one exceptional dish to present to a panel of esteemed culinary judges. The winner will be crowned the Best Bite in Town.
The episode will showcase six Davis eateries, including Hikari Sushi & Omakase, Sudwerk Brewing Co., Tommy J’s Grill, and three vendors from the renowned Davis Farmers Market: Handheld Sweet & Savory Pies, The Hotdogger, and Zumapoke. The competition segment will be filmed in Central Park, where the judges will evaluate the nominated dishes.
Best Bite in Town takes viewers on a flavour-packed journey, celebrating the heart and flavour of each community. It promises to be a fun and mouthwatering experience, with Fieri’s unique twist of competition added to the mix.
