Britain’s Got Talent” has announced a new spin-off show, “BGT Reacts,” which will air exclusively on ITVX. The show will feature popular content creators, celebrities, and legendary BGT acts reacting to the auditions and sharing their thoughts and opinions.

An Instagram post announcing the show read: “Introducing our brand new spin-off show, #BGT Reacts! Featuring some of the biggest content creators, much-loved celebrities, and legendary BGT acts, it’s guaranteed to make you laugh out loud!”

The show will consist of six 15-minute episodes, dropping weekly on ITVX after the transmission of the main show on ITV1. The first episode premiering on April 20, 2024, coinciding with the premiere of the 17th season of “Britain’s Got Talent.”

The “BGT Reacts” lineup includes some notable names, including content creators, celebrities, and legendary BGT acts. While the full list of participants has not been revealed, viewers can expect a mix of familiar and new faces.

The show is executive produced by Pete Cornes and Jamie Crossan, Head of Digital at Thames, and was commissioned by Lily Wilson, Commissioning Editor, Entertainment at ITV.

“BGT Reacts” promises to deliver unique moments and amplify viewer engagement, providing a new perspective on the auditions and the reactions they evoke. It is a celebration of the ‘react’ style of video that has dominated social media, and viewers can expect plenty of laughs, shocks, and DIY talents.

The announcement of “BGT Reacts” comes as the 17th season of “Britain’s Got Talent” returns with judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli. The winner of the show will receive a £250,000 cash prize and a spot on the bill at the Royal Variety Performance.
