The Chi, created by Lena Waithe, is a coming-of-age drama series that explores the interconnected lives of a group of residents in a neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The show delves into the complexities and dangers of life in this tough neighborhood, where the simplest decisions can have life-or-death consequences.
Jacob Latimore is an American actor, singer, and dancer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition to his role in The Chi, Latimore has appeared in several major films, including Black Nativity, Ride Along, The Maze Runner, and Detroit. He has also released multiple music albums, including “Connection” and “C3.”
Luke James is an American singer, songwriter, and actor from New Orleans, Louisiana. He began his career as part of the R&B duo Luke and Q and later pursued a successful solo career. He has written songs for prominent artists such as Chris Brown, Britney Spears, and Justin Bieber. As an actor, he has appeared in shows such as BET’s The New Edition Story, FOX’s Star, and HBO’s Insecure.
